Hi Form 2, here is your post for Week 2.
We are continuing the timeline of the Revolution, found here: goo.gl/qBLkaL
We will also commence a new PowerPoint on the Causes of the French Revolution - you can access it here: https://goo.gl/r1sxU5
Also, I will be collecting the homework from last week - the source analysis activity.
Homework:
Map activity. Use the blank map I will give you in class.
Use this link, and copy the map from this link: https://www.themaparchive.com/europe-in-1789.html
Use clear colours and make sure it is neat. This will help with your own understanding of the topic.
Don't label the cities. Do label the countries.
Then, find and mark the following six places:
Paris
Austerlitz (modern name is Brno)
Corsica (island)
Vendee region (in France)
Waterloo (in Belgium)
Borodino (in Russia)
Due: next Wednesday
Make sure you only spend 60 minutes on this.
If you finish in less than 60 minutes, please write a response to the following question, in your books.
"How did the map of Europe in 1789 differ from the modern map of Europe"?
Here is a youtube Crash Course on the French Revolution, enjoy:
Sir do we have to draw and label all the small countries as well? Or do we just label it the Holy Roman Empire?
ReplyDeleteJust label the HRE for ease of reference.
