This week our main focus will be the midterm exam - this will be on Tuesday, and will be 70 minutes long. There are three sections - a short answer/timeline section; a source section; and one essay.
Do make sure that you refer to reliability and usefulness of each source, and use the DATA method to get to the bottom of who wrote each source, who for, and why.
Make sure your essay had an introduction, body and conclusion.

Later in the week we will continue on, with a closer look at the Storming of the Bastille.
Homework
Your homework is to take the partly-written essay we did in class - and finish it. It should have an introduction and first body paragraph already done. Add on at least two more paragraphs, plus a conclusion. As you have had a head start on the essay, you should have time to do the last step of the essay-writing process - PROOF and EDIT your essay. This means reading over it for mistakes and to see how fluently it reads, and then changing things around to improve it.
As a reminder, the question was: How important were economic factors in causing the French Revolution?
